At present over 2 km of cables are assembled in every new vehicle and more than 2,500 contacts are connected. The installation of the arm-thick strings during car and truck production, around corners and edges, is made easier by the bags, which are (purely) custom-made by iba.
Nothing gets stuck there, nothing tears off. Thanks to our wiring-harness-packaging such as cable sleeves, assembly bags and parts-protection-bags, nothing gets stuck or tears off. We use dense, abrasion-resistant and mechanically puncture-proof ESD materials * and compact mesh.
Accuracy of fit and protection from particularly hard-to-reach places is the top priority in wiring harness packaging for the automotive industry.
